Chaurcey Boyd - Minister of Jesus Christ
Chaurcey has overall ministerial care authority and responsibility for this ministry.
Chaurcey is committed to preaching sound doctrine as revealed and recorded in the Holy Bible, the Word of God, to the saving of the soul and living a saved life as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Like Peter, Paul, and the other apostles Chaurcey is a work in progress, spiritually maturing in faith and knowledge as the Holy Spirit convicts and convinces him of the ministry to which he is called and sent regarding the Word, Will, Way, Wisdom, and Work of the Father and Son Jesus Christ in the Worship of God Everyday Everywhere in Everything.
Accordingly, Chaurcey strives to comply with and submit to that foundation laid by Jesus Christ and the faithful biblical apostles and prophets for he holds himself not to be superior to any of them ( Acts 2:42; Ephesians 2:20) but rather honoring and standing and sitting immediately below (Luke 9:62) the faithful biblical apostles and prophets, who themselves stand and sit immediately below Jesus Christ. Through the Holy Spirit, Chaurcey sits at the feet of the Father, Son Jesus Christ, and the faithful biblical apostles and prophets.
Accordingly, with respect to other ministers and ministries/churches, to the extent sound biblical doctrine is not violated by such ministers/ministries/churches, Chaurcey holds to the principle set forth in Romans 15:20-21 concerning not building on another man's foundation.
As a member of Jesus universal church by the grace of God (Matthew 16:13-19). Chaurcey stands on the shoulders and foundation of Jesus and his faithful biblical apostles (messengers) and prophets , first and foremost preaching/teaching what they preached/taught as set forth in the Holy Bible (KJV), applying biblical principles in areas, issues, and questions life brings locally, nationally, and internationally as circumstances call for -- [Hebrews 3:1; Ephesians 4:11; Acts 14:14; 1 Thess 1:1; 2:6; Acts 2:42; Ephesians 2:20].
Chaurcey generally prefers his name (first, last, or whole) to be used to address him following the biblical example of Jesus, the apostles, and others who were known by their personal names. However, he does use generic titles of address such as Reverend, Minister, and Brother, as well as other generally recognized titles of address specific to a particular function such as Elder and others listed in Ephesians 4:11; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:1-9, and other scriptures, when applicable and important to do so . Others may do the same or use whatever title of address as they feel comfortable in doing and which is doctrinally sound.
Chaurcey is a native of Texarkana, Arkansas. He was saved and baptized at an early age at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church (PRMBC) in the Mandeville community of Texarkana, Arkansas. At PRMBC, Chaurcey was called to preach in April 2000 and formally licensed to preach in October 2000. In January 2005, Chaurcey was formally ordained and witnessed into Christian Ministry to serve in whatever capacity the Lord God places him with respect to the work of the Gospel Ministry.
Upon graduation from high school in 1974 Chaurcey joined the US Army where he served for 20 years, first as an Administrative Specialist (3 years) and then as an Information System Software Engineer (17 years). Upon retirement, he returned to his hometown and church beginning. He faithfully served there as Sunday School Teacher and Assistant Superintendent, Youth Ministry Teacher, Deacon Assistant, and Trustee, etc. before becoming Associate Minister. Preferring independence like Jesus and the apostles and prophets, and not interested in being tied down by a local church except to help out for a period, he later moved on to other churches and ministries, Baptist and non-Baptist, to include founding a church and other ministries.
Chaurcey holds that Jesus is building a worldwide universal church (Matthew 16:13-19; 18:15-20) consisting of all persons who are his disciples regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality (Jew/Israelite or Gentile), sex/gender, socio-economic status, etc.; biblically these disciples are also collectively known as Christians. The members of this church assemble/meet in various locations to form regional/local churches/congregations for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service in doing the work of the Lord.
The assembly/meeting place may be a building set aside for such purposes as in the case of the synagogues. The meeting place may also be individual houses as often done in bible days before there were buildings set aside for Christian meetings. The meeting place may also be in the park or anywhere appropriate for people to gather to focus on spiritual matters. The meetingn place may be virtual using technology such as various Internet-based platforms. For Jesus said where two or three gather in his name he will be there with them (Matthew 18:20).
Some churches/ministries join together to form denominations. Ideally the only difference in such denominations should be in matters of righteous human preference rather than in matters of doctrine (that is, what the bible teaches and does not teach). Yet, sinful flesh has and continue to create divisions between Christians and local churches whether associated with a denomination or not.
This ministry is Chaurcey's personal Christian Ministry component of the body of Christ, the universal church, that Christ is building (Matthew 16:13-19). The ministry is not government-wise a tax exempt nonprofit due to Chaurcey's personal strategic choice to maintain independence over what he preaches and teaches. However as beneficial Chaurcey may establish tax-exempt ministries including local churches which may fall under this umbrella ministry.
Though Chaurcey began as Baptist, he appropriately honors and associates with people and organizations of all Christian denominations or other groups; he promotes sound Christian biblical doctrine and demotes unsound denominational doctrines and biases. Though as a Christian (disciple of Christ), Chaurcey identifies as part of the religion (faith) of Christianity (worldwide collection of Christians)in contrast to Atheism, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc., Chaurcey labors to boldly and humbly identify, reject, preach/teach, and stand against anything others in and outside Christianity promote and/or practice in voice and/or action that is not sound biblical doctrine.
Like the Bible, this ministry does not distinguish one nationality, race or skin color as superior to another or more favored by God under Christ and the New Covenant. Chaurcey does preach/teach/practice and stand against any claim that any nationality or race or skin color now deserves or will receive in the end time mastership so as to enslave any person or group or persons based on nationality or race or skin color. Chaurcey does, however, believe and exhort that people will receive greater blessings or rewards based on faithfulness regardless of nationality or race or skin color as that is common sense reading of the totality of scripture from Genesis to Revelation. It is also common sense reading of scripture that certain ministers, patriarchs, and persons based on faithfulness will receive the relative greater positions of honor and reward now and in the end time but that does not apply to the totality of those of their particular nationalities or race or skin color.
This ministry does recognize the power and value of the love thy neighbor as thyself principle Jesus speaks of in Matthew 22:34-40 and the Bible highlights elsewhere in scripture. Therefore, this ministry does recognize and does not deny that people of various nationalities, races, and skin colors have throughout history been oppressively victimized by those in power. This includes but is not limited to those with whom Chaurcey identify, Black American descendants of former American slaves. Therefore, this ministry have and will continue to preach/teach, practice and exhort people of all nationalities, races, and skin colors to contribute in attitude and gifted action to helping Black Americans to overcome the lingering effect of past and any present injustices. Yet, this ministry recognize that there are many non-Blacks such as some whites and non-Black Hispanics who lack adequacy in many areas in American life. Therefore this ministry works to help them to overcome victimization by those who have been and are in power. Indeed, the challenge of modern times is more about classism than racism.
